This flame features the plugin "fibonacci4_3D" which is bundled in the "Render Stereo" script package. It will have a separate release soon, along with several other new plugins and 2D to 3D conversions.
While designing, it was fun to make changes, and pop off another small render using the Render Stereo Script, then try more changes. Later these stereoscopic samples helped me choose which version to render overnight.
The stereo window control in the Script was set at 0.05 so that the flame rests just behind the side edges. This process is very easy to do in using the script. Default values show up and you change them or accept it and move on. Very quick process.
An overnight render isn't quick... obviously, nearly as much time went into trying things out and choosing the final settings. I think I want this one as well...
... but I don't see the parrot
