A 3D mod from a 2D plugin for Apophysis 3D hack

This one was a challenge to convert but it's fun to use and well worth the effort. The package includes a Readme file, a demo.flame, a couple sample pictures and a host of useful 3D plugins, which if you don't have, you may want to have available as you explore what this one can do.

I look forward to seeing what folks do with these plugins, so if you get something great, send me a note and a link!

Have fun!

 hi Larry

Thank you for sharing all your plugins :handshake:

Hope to find time soon for experiments  As newbie I'm not sure, how to handle, but I'll let you know about the results.

All but disc3d.dll went smoothly into Apophysis 7X, but eh, good to see the rest went in fine. =D

Sorry to hear that disc3D didn't work in 7x... Did you try emptying things out in case it was an "inter-plugin" dispute? ;)

I didn't write that one so haven't examined it much. It was in the package because I used it in the demo. I'm sure you can do other things though and not miss it.

Have fun!

Nah, I didn't, but I've been hearing that 7X in general is a bit more picky on scripts and plugs.

The only things that could have possibly conflicted where either the defaults in 7X, Blocky from :iconFrackFx:, or one of the few plugins from :iconxyrus02: I have installed (but Xyrus02 made 7X and I'm sure he has thus checked that his stuff does not cause conflict in 7X with other plugins).

I'll toss it to someone, probably :iconn8iveattitude1: and see if she can find the issue, or possibly already have a fixed copy or something. =)

Thanks for the reply!

I hope you eventually get it figured out. In several cases that I've found conflicts between plugins and took time to track down the cause, it varied from the plugin name, to tiny tidbits of code that seems to work by itself, but when loaded with the others finds occasion to choke. One has to start by identifying which two won't load together, then the testing of source code changes can begin.
